Hello,
We have encountered an issue where the game simply doesn't open when accepting invite from outside the game, no error appears on screen. This issue happens only in Quest 2, and started happening in early march (last year was working just fine).
Has anyone had trouble with something similar? Could this be an issue internal to unity or something related to the oculus application itself?

We're also having the same issue as of today using UE4.26

I am also encountering the same issue on the Quest 2 (UE4 4.26)
Accepting the invite shows a quick loading screen for a half a second, like it may be loading, then it vanishes and nothing happens.
However, in-game (on the invited users side), I can find the invite request (by binding to the ovrMessage_Notification_Room_InviteReceived callback).
This triggers, and appears to return the correct room ID and owner.

Did you manage to find a solution to this issue, I am having the same problem. Thanks in advance

No luck, I still have an open ticket with Oculus

Any luck with your issue @tony2055 ? I'm going to join the chorus— I have the same issue on a project in 4.26. These invites previously worked with no problems. Yo OCULUS/META, could you update us, please? My project is under considerable time pressure.

Sorry for being late, DrBowler. As i recently figured, Meta is redoing the entire MP system, throwing away almost every old funcionality. So i'm working with the new Oculus SDK (download it with Oculus Developer Hub, for Unreal or Unity), testing their samples to figure exactly how we're solve this and remake the invite system in my project 😞
