Everything is alright yesterday.

Today I found that the unknown source in Quest is disappear and I cannot connect my Quest via ADB.

Also the developer mode setting is not found in Oculus App.

What happened?

Hi Robbie,

Try adding a credit card number to your developer account and you should get developer mode back again right away - just close and re-open it.

To clarify - even though it says 'verified' with just a phone number OR a credit card, you actually need to add both now for developer mode to work again.

I got mine working by adding credit/debt card info in addition to phone verification, however when I was struggling with it I attempted to use ODH, only to find it it only works via Bluetooth, and I don't have a computer with Bluetooth capabilities. As in IT Manager, I hardwire everything, so it doesn't make since for me to buy wifi/bluetooth modules for all of my PCs. Surely I'm not the only one.

I got it working last week, thanks though.

So I FINALLY got it to work!!  I put the CC information in my Iphone from the quest device developer screen - even though it was in my PC- and then all of a sudden the developer option appeared!

Update 11/8The fix pushed to the latest App Update does not seem to have fixed the issue for all developers. At this time we are re-opening the issue and will update this forum thread with any relevant details: https://forums.oculusvr.com/t5/General-Development/Developer-Mode-Issues-Update/td-p/892227

In the meantime, many of our awesome developers have shared that verifying using a Credit Card allowed the Developer Mode option to appear.

wored out fine for me! THANK YOU!  Can´t see why oculus doesn´t comunicate smthng like this a bit better

So, I've checked it again just now, did nothing different myself, and I've got it to  work. My guess is that the Oculus App (Android) was updated.

I just signed up last week and verified with just my phone number. I was able to enable dev mode successfully yesterday, even though there is now a new thread where the same thing is happening to lots of developers all over again!
