What defines the orientation of guardian canvas?

What defines the initial orientation of the guardian paint area grid? ()

The grid canvas is limited to 10x10m but only if its rotated correctly, i can use its full potential in my physical space.

Any ideas?

Currently the old guardians determine the floor grid orientation even if the history is cleared. The only way I found to rotate the floor grid is to do a factory reset on my quest. Then when you go to make a new guardian the floor is rotating with the headset direction. I measured the size of the playable guardian space is about 34.5x34.5 feet when rotated correctly.

Hi Chester, thx a lot. With factory reset you mean not only a reboot but the "volume down and power button holding down thing", right? i will try that.
