Bluetooth Mic

A friend gave me one of his Samsung Gear VR sets to use with my phone so we could meet up in virtual since I moved 2hrs away. I was playing around with it and my Logitech bluetooth headset for audio, and everything seemed fine...until we tried VTime and Parties...both either couldn't detect or automuted our bluetooth mics and VTime requires a "wired" mic/headset. The last thing any of us need is to overburden ourselves with more wires, when the whole point (at least with the Gear VR) is to get away from them in the first place. I understand that it is possibly a failure in the programming of the games/apps, or the core program itself...but is there a workaround to get my bluetooth setup to actually work?

AFAIK, Bluetooth headsets can work with some VR apps, but if you want quality and stability on all of them, the only solution is to use a wired headset.
