I'm not sure this is the right place to post this so open to deletion, but I'm trying hard to set up a credit card so I could finally try this Omega Agent that brags everytime I open the shop.
However I've tried two of my credit cards, a debit card, and my gf's credit card and I always get the same error "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later"
I never had issue with my cards so pretty sure it's a software issue. Did anyone experience the same? Is there some kind of work around? I sent a request to Oculus but thought maybe someone has an advice.
I'm using the latest Innovator Edition on Galaxy S6.
Same payment method problem here with s6 and CE. Country Estonia. Was able to purchase with the same card before but not anymore. Only thing I remember that got updated before I tried to make a new purchase was the oculus activities or smth
I really don't understand why they have not fixed this yet. This post is from may 2015 so they have obviously been dealing with this problem for a while, the forums are already full of this problem and now they are advertising the gear vr free with the s7 on tv and radio they are going to get a shit load more complaints. All I'm getting from support is to reinstall the app, try another card or delete my Acc and start again. None of this helps, it's so obviously a problem on their end judging by the amount of people experiencing this problem. I suspect it has something to to with not being able to register my card to an address as the only option they give is a country and post code, this tells them what Street I live at but not my exact address. Hurry up and fix this Oculus!!!
My payment method has finally been accepted. After a week of back and forth email with oculus nothing fixed it. I've been trying to enter my details for a whole week with the same error msg each time and just now it randomly accepted my details. Sorry I can't specify exactly what fixed it but best of luck to you.
