Does The Gear VR for S6 Really Have A Fan?

I still get fogging, i would have thought even the weakest, smallest fan would sort this out if it were that close to the lenses?

I'm pretty sure it has.

I think the effectiveness of the fan is determined by ambient and body temperature quite a bit.

I got my gear VR a few days ago and have had no issues with fogging, but took it to my sisters today to show it off and her home was really warm inside, i was passing the gear VR around to her and her family and it was fogging up, i actually thought the fan had broken but it seemed to do it more on my bro in law who was a bit sweaty :? . I wiped the lenses and tried it on me and it didn't fog. So i think it was the change of temp every few mins that was causing it.

I'm back home now and its fine and not fogged up.

Thank you, arnoudh. We have an answer. I was actually wondering this myself.
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X | MSI X370 Titanium | G.Skill 16GB DDR4 3200 | EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 | Corsair Hydro H110i Gigabyte RX Vega 64 x2 | Samsung 960 Evo M.2 500GB | Seagate FireCuda SSHD 2TB | Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV

Thanks guys. It's nothing like the dk's so yeah, I should have had faith.

Hey arnoudh, any chance of seeing more? Was it a proper tear down?

It was a proper tear down in the sense that I undid every single screw (there were a LOT of them), but I did not do it to create some kind of manual. So all photos I took were for documenting purposes. But if I find the time I will post a few more pictures of the inside of the new Gear VR.
