How to enable developer mode on S6 Edge

guodongrong

I have a Galaxy S6 Edge, and would like to enable the developer mode. However, when I go to "Settings -> Application manager -> Gear VR Service", the "manage storage" button is gray and not clickable.

Any idea on how to enable developer mode on my phone?

Solved this problem for me (S7 Edge):
Turned out the sig-file I used had a wrong letter in it (so wrong device id). Must've been my mistake.
Got the sig-file again from https://developer.oculus.com/osig/ and placed it into myAppNameblabla/assets/ which is just the template app i made by following https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/mobilesdk/latest/concepts/mobile-new-apps-intro/

Hey @daprlab

Great that you solved it! In order to prevent those issues, I highly recommend just using ConstructVR to automate the OSig retrieval process! It's much like TestFlight but for the GearVR and lets you invite teammates and testers so they can provide you instant feedback.

Hope that helps and saves you time in the future!

Cheers,
Jaime

It took me two days to solve this problem. At the end, I reset my S7 edge, do all the steps again. It works perfectly then.

Install "SideloadVR" (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=SideloadVR&c=apps).
Download and install any application from the "SideloadVR", and developer mode will work.

installed this, followed the steps and it verified.  but still cant get past the "you are not a developer"
