Is it possible to access my GearVR content via my PC on my Rift?

Hi I am new here and have bought lots of content on my GearVR and finally made the plunge into PC VR and was wondering if there was any way to use the content I have already purchased through Oculus with my PC or is it a case of buying twice?

Many Thanks Radicai

It's a case of buying twice.  I personally can't think of any games/apps which when bought on one can be downloaded on the other - there may be some though.

It's a shame but maybe it isn't simple to get them working on the other device?

Thank you for your replys I was thinking it might be, I just wasn't sure as both the stores are oculus based and I wasn't sure if they allowed the content to be linked for users who have more then 1 of their devices. (In a similar way to Steam/Uplay).
It isn't a case of getting the content working from one to the other as it already exists on both, it is just allowing us to access it on both.

Well, it exists on both when you see it on both but it doesn't start out like that - as a developer, you create an app for either mobile or PC then if you choose to you make it work on the other - that could take days or many months.  I've enjoyed apps on the Gear VR 1 or 2 years ago and only now are some of them arriving on the PC.

Here's a thread from a developer of one of the earliest and most loved apps on the Rift - he mentions development challenges in getting it on the Gear VR:

edit:  and i suppose the developer, if they worked on it for another 6 months, wants (needs) to be paid for that time.
