Just a quick question - is it normal for an Oculus Cinema movie file size to be anything from 9-15GB mp4 files once converted from mkv blu ray files? I've kept 1280x720HD size and RF at 5.
I suspect the file size is too large, but not sure, as I haven't had much experience with doing this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Btw I included a lot more information in this post, but had issues with posting it due to some "spam" message that kept coming up.

I had a 15GB 3D 1080p file and it played without problems, except the audio needed to be converted to AAC or mp3. For 2D videos 720p resolution is enough and the file size doesnt matter aslong as the bitrate is high enough (around 5mbit/s or higher).
Thanks for all your help guys. I've gone back and made a few adjustments and getting files about 2-5GB at 1280x720 🙂
Hopefully I get my Gear VR this week, so I'll be able to test them in the cinema. Been delayed from Samsung due to an unusually large spate of orders... apparently 😕
