Has there been any word on an update to fix the UI flashing issue? Whenever I move my had while looking at the screen the UI overlay starts to flicker and cause the video to stutter.

I look up and see the chandelier with the text, I assume I have to stare at it to select - but the cursor/cross-hairs don't follow my head motion to actually select Void Mode. I'm at a loss.

I noticed this as well. Even though you think you are looking at it head on (head up) tilt you head a little more backwards and it should trigger the crosshairs to activate void mode.
