about a year ago we created a GearVR app in Unity that allowed customers to register using an NFC bracelet. Always worked like a charm. Some days ago how ever, we were asked to update this app and we noticed that NFC stopped working.
Upon further investigation, we noticed that NFC is working fine while NOT in the GearVR headset (dev mode == on) but stops working IN the headset. Is Gear VR service or system disabling NFC?

I read your post about NFC stopped when you connect your Smartphone with your GearVR. We are working on a different developement using the same technologie. We've got this unsolved problem at now since we've updated our androïd version (upgrade to nougat and Oreo). It works fine with Marshmallow. Thanks for your anwser(s) and your help.
