No Thumbnails for 360 Photos in GearVR

Hey folks,

i just tried to upload my own 360 Photos to the Oculus 360 Photos App on my GearVR.
The images are saved in jpg-Format in the Oculus "My images" Folder on my smartphone and can be viewed in VR! BUT there are no Thumbnails in the preview (only the grey placeholder Image) which is very annoying.

Have you guys any idea how i can add thumbnails to my pictures?
I already tried the suggestion for adding thumbnails to videos with the PVRTex Tool but this doesn't seem to work for my photos 😞
(For reference: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mobile-vr/gear-vr/how-to-make-thumbnails-360-vids-t2974591)

Cheers

Thanks for such an open behind-the-scenes look at not just
the process, I feel best about it. This blog is so nice to me. I will continue
to come here again and again.

Wtf?
Wrong discussion? 😛

Our Problem is still not solved 😕
We want to show some 360 Photos to our customer and having no thumbnails - thus selecting by filename is a no go!
Any help would be appreciated!

Oh this problem still exists? I almost forgot about it. I reported this over two years ago now and they still haven't fixed it?
I'm sorry we are not using oculus photo software anymore - mainly due to the lack of support.
