Hi! I have problem with the Oculus Rooms on my S7 and S8 too. I only get the loading screen what is lagging so hard, and never load the room. So i have only a laggy loading screen(both of s7 and s8).
Thanks for getting back with your build numbers! From what I can tell, you have a few mismatched builds on your phone somehow. Could you try removing the following from your phone: * Oculus * Oculus App Runtime * Oculus VR * Oculus Home
Then dock your device into the GearVR headset and go through the installation flow. Hopefully this will resolve the Rooms launch issue - let me know how it goes!
Note: I just did this on my device and got the following builds: Oculus VR 3.20.0.3.339

Hi! i bet your mobilephone language is not english, so u have to set the phone language to english, then open the oculus rooms, and after it works, and you can change the language to your language. Oculus rooms need english phone language at the first time use, than it works with other language,
