Ive been using the Gear VR with my s8+ for months now and never had a problem until now. The problem is only with Oculus Video. All the other apps work fine. But when i try to open Oculus Video this text pops up on the screen:
A new version of Oculus is required to support your experience in VR. Please turn on WIFI then reinsert device into the headset.
I've tried enabling all Facebook and Oculus apps. I've tried clearing the data and cache from all apps and then restarting my phone. I've tried uninstalling all Oculus apps and then reinstalling. Still everything works fine except for Oculus Video, which is the one app I use alot. Please help!
I am facing the same problem when I try my s7 edge, however oculus video works normally when I plug in my s8+ Can someone explain what I should look for as I want to keep the s7 edge for the gear VR as I love the s8 as a phone
I tried uninstalling the oculus app and reinstalling it, it worked!!! oculus video now appears more integrated into the oculus home Weird that oculus app wouldn't update automatically like it should (And did before)
