Pressing the back or home button in game goes to black screen on S10

I have a new S10 (not + or E) and I'm using the Gear VR version SM R323 that I bought when I got my Note 5, everything worked good on the Note 5 (I havnt tried it lately) and works well for the S10 but if I need to return to the start when you first put it on using the home or by holding down the return buttons it gets a black screen and then nothing works maybe ide be lucky by pressing the return button again a few times to get back to the game screen but usually I have to remove the headset for about 10 seconds and put it back on to see the game screen again but I still cant get back to the start to choose a different game so I have to remove the phone and put it back in to get back to the start. I have tried uninstalling the Oculus app with a new install, making a Facebook account and using it instead of the Oculus one I had. I know there is a Gear VR version 325 but I dont have one and I dont have $200 at the moment is there a way to fix this?

Afraid not mate. The S10 needs the 325 version to work correctly. Keep an eye on Ebay, a bargain or 2 will pop up.

Plus I think 324 works ok with the S10 also. About 30 to 40 pounds on Ebay here in the UK

Alright thanks I suspected I had to get the 325 I will go with it and not the 324 just in case so I dont end up with 3 Gear VR's

I bought a Gear VR R325 this time now and im having the same problems, if I press the back or home button it still goes to a black screen even on the remote.... 😞 is there a troubleshooting list I can try from anyone here that has had the same problem? also the USB C adapter I got with it seems a bit big I might have the Note 8 adapter is there a way to tell what type I have?

I looked here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/which-galaxy-smartphones-are-compatible-with-which... and it says for the R325, Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e (connector needed) ???? are all connectors the same or are they made differently for different phones?

If anyone needs to know I was able to get it working again with the help of an online chat and he said to clear the cache and data of the Gear VR inputservice and then the same for all Oculus listings in the Apps settings, then uninstall all the Oculus apps as well as the GearVR inputservices then reinstall everything and now the return and home buttons work as should.
