Just got the Gear VR and love it so far. I'm seeing one issue though, it appears their is a bit of redish/blueish color coming from the pixels on the sides, its a bit annoying when text is running across the screen (very noticeable).
Is there a way to adjust this? Anyone else seeing this? I haven't seen much info on this particular problem.
I think know what you're referring to. It's kind of a hue of red and blue around white text on a black background? If that's what you're describing, that is likely the glow of the pixels themselves in the screen. The only way to reduce the hue would only be to clean the lenses. Keep in mind, you're basically holding a magnifying glass up to the screen, so you're going to see imperfections.
What you probably mean is chromatic aberration, which is common in these kind of lenses but can be helped a bit via software but that needs additonal processing power, which is scarce to begin with, so not many apps do something about it.
In Titans of Space you can switch on Chromatic abberation correction but that will disable full stereoscopic 3D i think.
