Rendering CG Stereo 360 Panoramas for viewing with Gear VR

I am working on trying to render my 3D scenes for viewing in 360 inside the GearVR.
So far, I've only managed to get 1 of the files recognized by the 360 photo app but there is no depth.

I have two 360 panorama renderings; one for each eye. Does anyone know how it is easy to join these two jpg files into a vr file that can be viewed in 3D inside GearVR Photos 360 app?

I've noticed that google cardboard camera panoramas work perfectly fine with depth and all inside the photos 360 which is awesome. It seems like Google cardboard camera app, adds some special metadata to the jpgs that define the depth info even though it's only 1 jpg file.

It would have been awesome if there's a software or app to combine a stereo 360 panorama for 3D viewing, or at least an easy enough workflow.

Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂

I have the same need. Have you already gotten an app? Do you know The Viewer https://theviewer.co/?

2 pic isnt good. Make a top-bottom equirectangular in Photoshop, so 360Photos app can show in 3D!

I use 6000x6000 px which seems the best.
