VR Karts

VR Karts is now available for download on the store.

It has an online multiplayer option. Any ideas on how to play together since Gear owners playing VR Karts
should be pretty rare right now.

The game itself is great even though the racing speed is much to slow. Darknet generates a better feeling of movement. They should add a super fast mode.

Lets play together! I am TimGER92

The racing speed is plenty fast, there is an speed boost button you can use after you hit those blue things, this gives you plenty of speed.

When you start Darknet and go through the first tunnel to the menu area. That delivers at least for me a much better feeling of motion. Even with the boost its very slow. Try darknet youll know what I mean. I hope theyll increase the speed or at least make it optional. Im just not feeling it. But oveall this game is great and is ranked somewhere in the lower fields of my top 10 for gear.

I didn't have any issues. Cockpit games tend to be safer for locomotion. This is a lot better than I first thought. Lots of fun and chaotic. I love being able to see my avatar move in the mirror like I do...that's a nice touch and the controls are nice and snug. This is a winner. Worth the $5.

Online multiplayer isnt working for me. I tried it a couple of times, but i keep joining a empty server i think. The game will load, but i end up being alone in game. Could be because there are to few people online. Is it working for anyone else?

It's a like of players. Maybe in time, there will be enough people. The pains of being early adopters.

After waiting a while I finally got a player...and it was Drash! Awesome, the first thing he did was nail me with some attack that sent me careening into a wall and made the car impossible to drive for a several seconds LOL I lost and it was a blast.

For online multiplaying they just throw some players together instead of providing the option to create a game like in CoD or other multiplayer games. I guess that that should be fixed. It would also be nice to have a online scoring system. And lot but not least they should add much faster speed options. Even in the fast mode with boost I feeling like my kart is just crawling along the track.

Zero motion sickness for me.
And I do get motion sick from MilkVR Videos inside cars.

I wasn't feeling so great at the end. It's mostly the turns, for me. Would be crazy awesome on a motion platform.

It's fun, nice to have that type of game. I tried it multiplayer and raced alone, bummer. It wasn't clear to me what the weapons did against bots, didn't have much effect what I saw. The sense of scale seemed a bit odd, if I look down at my cartoon body it looks like a giant. Some nice innovations though, hopefully they'll keep working on it.

Keep it up devs!
