VR Karts is now available for download on the store.
It has an online multiplayer option. Any ideas on how to play together since Gear owners playing VR Karts should be pretty rare right now.
The game itself is great even though the racing speed is much to slow. Darknet generates a better feeling of movement. They should add a super fast mode.
Nope, other people can join in. Players can join whilst the 2 are playing now and everyone will regroup in the lobby after the race ready for the next one.

Yes we raced,but I has several issues,The screen froze once in the room where the results are shown after the race,I had to remove phone to reset,also 3 times the screen went black and stayed that way as i was going from the waiting room to the race track,gave up in the end. Also another problem is that even though the multiplayer menu screen says players online when you enter multiplayer it just takes you back to the vr kart main menu,this has been reported by several people.
Hi.. I downloaded the update but when playing with my Moga Power Pro controller, the triggers don't activate throttle/brake. I have to use the right stick.. press it left for throttle, right for brake. This makes it really hard to hit the other buttons for boost etc. I've seen other users recommend this controller for the game but I'm guessing they don't have the same issue! This controller works great for all other games, does anyone use this controller for VR Karts and it works OK?? Am I doing something wrong?
@Vistigor - I'm sorry you're having issues. I'm looking at controller configurations at the moment so there'll be more compatibility for different pads in the next update of VR Karts.
I keep getting the Gamepad not detected message on the screen, but the game pad is working just fine.
I am able to race, but the gamepad not detected message is quite anoying. Is there a way to shut it off?
Using a Note4 with the Steelseeries Free controller. (Zeemote)
Just wanted to share that I am having this exact same problem. I'm using an iControlPad controller and it controls everything just fine, but I keep seeing the annoying "gamepad not detected" message. Is there a way around this?
