Want to watch movies in 360 but can't find a good one. There are plenty of videos but I want to watch movies.

is it possible to watch videos with other people at the same time on the Samsung gear VR?

There is an abundance of VR porn
Good quality too, most is 60fps stereoscopic 3D.

Most of the streamed 360 content suffers from bandwidth limitations so they end up looking blurry. Especially if they're stereoscopic since that effectively halves the available resolution. Also, the phone hardware can only handle so much resolution, and you need a lot of that for full 360 as you have to spread the available rez across a full sphere of view. 4k video is usually 3840x2160 pixels, and when you spread that over a full sphere, you don't get a lot of pixel resolution in your field of view.

Yeah, lots of streamed documentaries and short films  can be viewed via Jaunt, Samsung VR and Oculus Video etc, but they all have these same problems.

Depending on where one lives, streaming is neigh impossible, I usually download everything beforehand if possible, Youtube being the easiest.
That said, the phone, even the Note 4, can play  +4k +30mbit stereoscopic videos without a hitch, and the bitrate is important, more so than resolution.
For half dome, 4k is pretty much as good as it gets on current display tech.
