Here in Asia some countries like Singapore should get it in November. That's the information I have talking to Samsung reps.
The new Note is out since a couple of days already. I think Samsung won't want to miss the Christmas business so a good guess would be a major roll out in December at least.
Those are articles basing a leak document for the "Korea" release of Gear VR only.
There is no official date for USA. Unlike the Samsung cell phone that releases first in Korea, there is a possibility that Gear VR could be release in the West sometime in mid-late November.
This is all speculation. I have actually held one unit at a Best Buy store. So I think November if I have to guess
Got my Note 4 yesterday, waiting for news on how to get a gear vr in Ireland. Cant wait to review it. The screen is amazing.
