Anyone know how to view a photo taken with the "surround shot" mode, in the gear VR when only half of the photo is taken? I've taken shots where they've only been 180 degree shots or less where I didn't want to sit there for ages looking like an idiot while I took a million shots. When I view these in the gear VR, it converts them to 360 images and therefore obscures and distorts the photo thus removing the ability to view it properly. Is there a way around this? 360 panoramas, or even 180 panoramas seem to work fine, just not shots made in the surround shot mode.
