Yeah, kicking myself now for not waiting ... I watched a pre-release youtube vid that was sponsored by Oculus, and they mentioned those dates and the special event, should be good!

Here we go, more incentive to add to my growing backlog of games I won't be able to resist. The queue gets longer and I can't control it any more. I just spent an hour and a half in Coco VR soaking in the amazing environment. Someone add more hours in the day.
Indeed my vr collection is now just a mini version of my pc and console "pancake" game selection. It is why I always boggle when I hear folk say vr will fail because there is no content. My vr games library says otherwise and the numbers keep growing. My 11 quid credit is gone despite my best efforts but I have my eye on a few anyway (lone echo and mages tale the 2 front runners)

I know I'll be buying stuff if this sale happens, but the only VR game I've completed so far is Dead Secret. VR games will become as long as my list of 2D Steam games if I'm not careful. I do stand a chance of playing these VR games at some point though since VR is the future. As for the Steam 2D rubbish, I'm not so sure I'll ever play them now. I do like some Strategy games in 2D though.
In fact I am running out of VR games to play... In the past few months, I have finished Wilson's Heart, Mage's Tale and Lone Echo. Right now I am playing Ultra Wings and Attach of the bugs.
I still have Superhot VR and I expect you to die in my backlog. But they are known to be short games.
The bottom line is, I am hungry for story-rich long and deep VR games. Right now I still have Dead Secret to play. But I was scared too much by the first jump scare. I cannot play it for more than 10 minutes each time now. The atmosphere is just too creepy... Sometimes I was scared by my own in-game VR body. Never knew I was such a wuss......
By the way, I just tried Thrill of the fight (on SteamVR) last night, which turned out to be an excellent workout. You guys should all try it.
Good news ... March was the month where I tried not to spend money on games. Which to me means that im allowed to use a lot this month. Human nature ... No wonder aliens haven´t made contact yet.
There are 27 titles in my library that I have started (not necessarily for more than a few minutes) out of 59 titles!
In Steam those numbers are 134 purchased and 77 played. About even, then! 😛
In the sale, I'll be adding at least Lone Echo, and probably GR:T (Ground Runner: Trials). I would have bought the latter already, but there are lots of players getting queasy with it, so I'm being cautious.
