3 stores before me?

Could Oculus please rationalize why Best buy, Microsoft and Amazon are getting Rifts before me?  I can't wrap my head around it...  Didn't I PREorder?
I'm guessing my puny amount of money is the difference eh.  I chose the wrong HMD it seems or am I missing something.

At least my Virtuix Omni monthly update said my Omni will be coming *drum roll* before the end of the year...

That said, STEM is coming this month (we are in October right?) Can't get a refund either.

Come on VR, 2016 is supposed to be your time to shine!

I'm sure if you contact Oculus and buy 100 Rifts of em with the commitment to advertise and sell 10.000 more Rifts they would give you one right now to play with.

Also nice way of illustrating how while Oculus is not doing amazing it could be way worse.

At least the consumer Rift exists and several of them have found their way to actual people's homes.

And that number is growing by the day/week.

Its because oculus has its eyes on the future but forgot to wrap up the now.

Of course its going to screw them over in the future

I get why this is happening to have store presense. But to the current people that preordered one and are still waiting because of the shortage is just a slap in the face at this point.

As I'm not willing to cancel(been waiting for too many years) I guess all I can do is remember this and come CV2 go with their competitors.  If my mind plays tricks on me and I almost buy again from Oculus, please slap me silly!(on my bottom pretty pulease.)

With the growing number of people who continue to complain that having to wait longer is a "slap in the face" I anticipate that within a months time everyone I see in VR Multiplayer games will have bumps, bruises, and welts all over their virtual visage lol

It might suck on a small personal (selfish) level but for VR as a whole it's great news and the only chance for VR to succeed in the long term, retail exposure is a must and much more important in the big picture than single preorders and kickstarters being filled ahead of the order dates given.

A guy with the Oculus logo as his avatar is defending Oculus? Amazing!  If you already have your Rift than it's so amazing I might take you seriously. (Yeah, I'm bitter about the whole thing...)
