What about head tracking? Still not working with new driver?

I didnt know headtracking was borked in the last one? either way, it seems to be ok now.

When I set 3D in last driver to Oculus Rift and run 3D Vision game in big screen on Oculus, there wasn't any head tracking available. Of course when I run game with rift support, head tracking was working. I hope they implement it soon if it doesn't work already. It don't have to be stick to control the game, just to control the view on big virtual screen (with depth control too).

Low persistence turning off in Elite has been a problem for a while and it happens on both AMD and Nvidia GPUs.

Yeah, I've had that happen seemingly randomly with the 344.75 drivers and have just been exiting and restarting it. Someone upthread said alt-tabbing fixes it, I'll have to try that next time it happens and see if that works. Certainly would save a bit of time.

I can third this issue, not Nvidia, I Didn't know about the Alt/Tab fix though.
Not a Rift fanboi. Not a Vive fanboi. I'm a VR fanboi. Get it straight.

What games have you got working? I can only get world of warcraft to work....is it any better with these drivers?

Mareknr, how does the 3d vision look? Is it a virtual screen without headtracking?

Yes exactly. Big virtual screen but without headtracking. I hope they will get it work with new driver. I can't test it until weekend in the end of January. That's why I asked my first question. For me personaly there is for now no need to hijack game controls. Only main camera from which you look at virtual screen could be mapped to oculus rift's tracking. That would be great. And mouse wheel for changing virtual screen distance would be fine too.

Dead Space, Mass Effect, Bioshock Infinite and more. When I turn on 3D in NVIDIA control panel with rift as main monitor, all games I tried start on big virtual screen in front of me. But I had one problem. FHD works good but when I try DSR and 4K, the screen was too close to me. That's why I want to have possibility to change virtual screen distance.

How do I enable it? It wants me to do setup and does not include the rift as an option...

I think someone posted that 3D vision is no longer working in the rift with this driver version

I had rift set as main monitor. With that setup after turning on 3D in NVIDIA control panel, 3D type will be set to Oculus Rift. That's all.

Hmmm. I hope that's not true.
