3D prints anyone?

So I'm using a 3D printer tonight and I'm stuck for stuff to print so i'm wondering if anyone has anything they would like printed to see how it comes out or if it works on the CV1 etc.

Here's a couple of leap motion clips I printed on the same machine. 


It's a DLP printer so certain parts will be limited by supports etc.

I won't be able to send prints anywhere but I will happily try them.

@FrozenPea I tried to print the mount but it was just too thin to be able to remove without breaking unfortunately. I could try again with the models supported but then I'd have to grind away the supports. I may have to make some adjustments to make it a bit thicker if I try again :smile:

Thats an interesting difference between a resin printer i didnt know about! My pla print just pops right off after its cooled down 🙂

It doesn't help that this particular material is also designed to be very brittle so I'm not really going by the book. PLA is a lot more flexible and much better suited 🙂

I still totally recommend Blu-tack! It might not look amazing but it is really convenient and has a smaller footprint than the mount. 

Yeah, Blue tack really does seem better than all the work 3d printing a big mount.

My next choice would probably be velcro tape but I wasn't sure if I wanted to stick anything on there permanently. I have a weird OCD type thing where I really look after my stuff.

People think I'm mad but I've sold all my old mobile phones at the highest quality grade lol. I have a friend who doesn't use a phone case and he likes to flip it around and drops it ask the time, he knows it drives me nuts so he does it more to wind me up lol.
