3RD SENSOR QUESTION

Are you able to connect multiple cables as to not have to go across the floor with the cable when connecting the 3rd sensor- if so which one>

The separate sensor accessory includes an extension cable. Some 3rd party cables may not function, and chaining multiple cables together probably won't work.

oh i didnt know they include an extension as well when you purchase additional sensors, i assume they're passive sensors? how long is it?

@KenSniper It's in the description of the sensor on Oculus' website when you buy it by itself, but it's a 5-meter Monoprice active USB 2.0 extension.

My third sensor is using the extension cable that came with it *as well as* another USB extender and works perfectly. So from the PC I have extender that came with sensor, another USB extender (2 meters long) then the sensor.

Ah, i had to add it the cart to see that extra info, I actually checked it before i posted that not knwoing they had more things to tell me

When you order a third sensor, it comes with a USB2.0 active extension (5m), although the sensor itself has a USB3 cable. They recommend plugging two sensors into USB3, and the third into USB2.
