A couple of questions

First, Is there a common controller buttoon to exit games?  I couldn't figure out how to get out of Luckys tale or Farlands and back to the home window.
Second is there support for multiple people in the same household?  My kids want to play, but I don't want them using my saved games.  Is there a way to add a profile for them?

Yep the Xbox Guide button or comparable button should bring up the Home menu so you can exit. Not sure on the second question...

I'm hitting ESC on keyboard.

I would find it inconvenient, but I believe that the proper solution would be to create them a different account on the computer (they could still use your oculus creds). My guess is that the saves are stored per user.

Please note that VR for small children (under 13 if I remember correctly) is currently not recommended.

Mouse and keyboard aren't generally supported. You should use the Xbox button to return to the Universal Menu or exit to Home.

In terms of having multiple users, the way to do this would be to have multiple user accounts on the Windows computer. This should make it so each Windows users can have their own save games.

I'm finding that in many apps (including Lucky's Tale) the Xbox button does nothing, at least on an xbox360 pad. The only way I can exit these apps is to take off the Rift and mouse-click the X on the mirrored screen to close it.

The Xbox 360 pad should work, I use it all the time at work. I did hear about some controller driver issues with Lucky's Tale (maybe others). The fix is to go to Device Manager and uninstall the driver for the Xbox controller, then let it download the new default one. Can you try this?

I'll give it a shot tonight. The controller works fine for playing, just no access to this Universal Menu/Exit to Home you mentioned.

I've read that the Win10 Xbox app Game DVR can take over the function of the Xbox button, but I had already disabled that a few weeks ago.

So it wasn't a driver issue, it's a Windows 10 thing. The built-in Xbox app takes over control of the Xbox button to launch the Game DVR. I had to re-enable the Game DVR, launch it (Win+G) and in its settings, turn off the setting to activate it with the Xbox button. It's kind of stupid that the setting isn't available in the Xbox app directly, but now I can get to the Universal Menu from within Oculus Apps.

I'm surprised this didn't come up during development, since Oculus is supposed to be working closely with Microsoft. I guess everyone at OVR is still using Windows 7/8?
