I think it would be kind of cool to have the gpu included with future versions the Oculus Rift and take advantage of the Thunderbolt 3 port on macs (and others). I happen to know this works very well because this is how I use my Rift with my own laptop. I was thinking how much simpler it would be if I could just plug the Rift into the thunderbolt port rather than having an external GPU with MANY wires connected to it.

I think I'd keep that part on the desk with the sensors but I won't judge if you want to wear yours.
