I'll definitely be giving War Thunder another crack. It was a bit too hard to play with the DK1 with the low resolution. And, if Santa is kind, we'll all be playing EVE: Valkyrie as well.
I've been so addicted to euro truck simulator 2, i don't even have a rift yet, its a really fun game 😄

Make sure you also have yourself a G25 or G27 racing wheel to make the best of'em 😄
I have the G25, and the actual steering part of the G25 and 27 are the same, but the G27 has more buttons on the wheel, and has a raised pedal to make it easier to heeltoe the brake and clutch
the G25 you can switch the 6-shift between 6 shift and sequential, they removed that feature to make the 6-shift more firm and feel a bit more real on the G27, and besides that, you have paddle shifters if you want sequential, so turning the shifter into sequential is a bit redundant...
so all in all the G27 is a much improved wheel over the G25, as similar as they are.
Don't forget Assetto Corsa,game is fantastic as it is and the nordschleife is due to be released around september . Just this experience is worth buying a rift for me 🙂
I'm working on getting Doom 3 BFG Edition ready and working properly. It's playable now (except for the menus and PDA), but the distortion isn't quite right, and it's not as easy to use as it should be.
