Add high performance mode for quest3 and quest3s

Meta should add a high performance mode option to the system. It can be turned on when connected to a power source. The current home resolution and all 2D application resolutions are too low. Using the qgo software can only change the resolution of 3D immersive applications. It is recommended to add a high performance mode option, which can be turned on when connected to a power source, forcing the system to increase the resolution of all applications and the CPU and GPU frequencies. If it is not connected to a power source, the high performance mode cannot be turned on, so there is no need to worry about battery.

I'd recommend adding a thread in the ideas section for that.

Feature additions depend a lot on how popular Meta think they will be and ideas get prioritised on how many comments and likes they get. So definitely worth posting,

Personally I don't spend much time in the home environment, it's just a place to fiddle with settings and open up  apps and the store. Sometimes browse the internet.

I haven't checked the Quest browser resolution or things like viewing my PC desktop... are those resolutions low? The Netflix app needed a resolution improvement but now that the browser supports Netflix (I think that was added in June) it's supposed to be higher res. and the browser generally looks good to me. I'm still using the Netflix app though, I'm a bit stuck in my ways I guess.

I don't think I've used any other 2D apps, other than these... browser/store/menus. What apps are you using?

As far as the environments themselves go, it's a bit of a balancing act between looking good and keeping their footprint low. People tend to want as much space available for games and apps, plus for me keeping a few movies stored on there, as well as all the available environments to switch between, so I wouldn't really want environment poly-counts and texture sizes to go up much. Maybe I should pick one and stick to it!
