Seeing how quickly the pre-orders pushed shipments into May and seeing the order number progression, how many Rifts do you think they actually have ready to ship out at this moment? How many do you think sold yesterday to push shipments into May?
I am guessing they had 10,000 ready and will need to start manufacturing the rest ASAP.
That would mean they got somewhere around 30,000 orders yesterday. Probably well over 30,000 as I am guessing the 30,000 mark pushed them into May.
What do you guys think?

I've never understood why Americans use mm/dd/yyyy. This is a classic example of why these things should be standardised to prevent confusion of extremely important matters.

I had to fight with my iPad to make it spell standardised correctly 😉
They probably didn't have to many... Everyone in manufacturing and business knows that the more money you have the more expensive and longer it takes to mass produced a product. Heck they had a couple billion or more! So maybe 50,000 at most! The rest will trickle in off the production line over time. :lol:

Yeah, you guys are probably right with the 50,000 guess. I estimated low because of how the order numbers looked and how quickly the ship date went to April.

What are you even talking about? We were just estimating the number of rifts they had premade and speaking about how the ship dates moved to April within the first 30 minutes of the sale going live.

March units for preorders were limited as we've already promised our Kickstarters theirs first. We had to flip to April almost instantly as you could imagine. Yes, there were some hiccups in the very beginning, but we had the site pretty solid quickly, when estimate was still April, and stayed that way for a good bit. There's only 4 days from our initial estimate to April
So I'm guessing they didn't have that many to be honest, I'm guessing an inital 20k, and the rest are being manufactured and will be on a slow boat in from china, hence why the delay of one month between batches.
