Seeing how quickly the pre-orders pushed shipments into May and seeing the order number progression, how many Rifts do you think they actually have ready to ship out at this moment? How many do you think sold yesterday to push shipments into May?
I am guessing they had 10,000 ready and will need to start manufacturing the rest ASAP.
That would mean they got somewhere around 30,000 orders yesterday. Probably well over 30,000 as I am guessing the 30,000 mark pushed them into May.
What do you guys think?

I'd say they probably had closer to 50,000 on hand. That may seem like a lot to sell in the first 5-10 minutes, but you have to remember since the pre-order was free, anyone that had any interest in maybe picking one up pre-ordered, so that's going to go a lot faster than if people had to drop even $50 up front.

That sounds like a pretty good number, that would be crazy if they really had 50,000 orders within the first couple minutes.
I am just surprised how quickly the shipping date moved. It seems the orders tore through the stock amazingly fast.

Another question is how many CV1's did they give away to DK1 kickstarters?
None thus far, obviously, but I'd say it'll end up being around 6000 Kickstarter Rifts that will be given away. Less than 8000 people are eligible, and those that are would have to go to the Kickstarter page to find the announcement and then fill out a survey to get theirs, so a lot of people won't necessarily hear about that (though I suppose they sent out an email) from those people, some won't be in countries Oculus ships to, so we'll see if they can work something out with them. Maybe 7000 on the high side.

I haven't. I just have a fairly low order number and the screen during checkout said March.
I'd Ignore the March screen if I was you. Mine said March on that screen, but my email says June 1st 2016.
I would say 12000 units. Do you get a free CV1 if you guess right?
You got an email with the June 1st shipment date? I only received the pre-order confirmation, but never got an actual shipment date and ordered 7 minutes from pre-order launch. I'm in the ~7000 order number range.
