After years of absence from Oculus/Meta I am Back October 10th

Having been a regular here for many years back when the awesome Cybereality was the kingpin. From Curry's today I pre-ordered the Quest 3. So that means back in the Meta camp after quite a lengthy hiatus. The last Meta headset I owned was the original Quest. I still have an Oculus GO somewhere and parts of the original Rift CV1. But, and I still use it today, I moved on to the HP Reverb camp with no regrets. 

I am quite forthright with my wants and desires, but don't be put off by that.  So, putting my cards on the table, I am interested primarily in how developers of Adult gaming experiences will utilize the passthrough camera. I imagine, seeing avatars in your room and being able to interact that way. I believe one of the developers has already done that with Quest 2. 

Anyhow. I'm back.  Hello everyone.

And yeh, I still hate the forum format here. Wondering if there is an official Meta Discord channel?

I thought my Pro would see me through for a couple more years, didn't really want to spend any more on headsets for a while, but the Quest 3 reviews and the specs... just didn't want to be left out I guess so yeah, ordered.

**bleep**! It feels like I've warped back in time to the Rift CV1 Days. Great to see you guys are still here. I wonder, does mr Rune post? I often bump into him on Steam forums.  Well, I am very excited for Q3 because I got the launch Reverb G2 like over 2 years ago and it feels since then the VR landscape has changed quite a bit what with Quest Pro, Quest 2, Varjo Aero and PSVR 2, Big Screen's headset etc.

JFYI, my avatar is AI created art in a FREE vr app for Quest PCVR PSVR 2 called Riff XR. Pretty awesome stuff. Look it up if you haven't already.

So normally game topics Rune still runs those threads haha he is awesome! You can never miss his threads they are fully detailed! Regarding our topics we have Talk VR is mostly anything VR related Meta or not Meta. For VR experience would be like any non support issue the community can guide to answering or game related questions or comments. 

We also still have the Joke thread in our Off topic! People provide movie threads or just new announcements overall of any vr device!
