@Shadowmask72, yeah I gave up on getting it to work with the current runtime and a runtime switcher... it just wasn't possible. Which is why I don't thing people are going to like the solution.

It basically uses a spare hard drive with a cloned Windows install and separate older runtime install... I have a small program that reboots into the cloned Windows and launches the game, which can be done from a single shortcut so it's kind of seamless but still, it's a messy process.

Ouch, you're 100% correct.

System Specs: MSI NVIDIA RTX 4090 , i5 13700K CPU, 32GB DDR 4 RAM, Win 11 64 Bit OS.

Ouch indeed... depends how desperate people are to play this game!

VorpX?

VorpX is going to be a better solution for most but I believe there are some issues with shadows and tracking. I haven't actually tried it with VorpX so am just going on reports. I just want to get it working with native support first... it's become a challenge.

So you wish to get inside VR with the xenomorph??

Loco!!!!!! 😮 😮 😮 😮
Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.

@vannagirl, I think I've probably only spent a total of 10 hours in a fully working version of the game.. much more time spent trying to get it working.

Those 10 hours though... what a rush!

I'm surprised nobody has made a VR version of Alien Vs Predator.
The original AVP by Rebellion is not only awesome, but has been open source for quite a while now.

I loved playing Alien: Isolation on my DK2. I keep waiting and hoping that they update it to work with the current runtime so I can get back in there again.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Try my game: Cyclops Island Demo

And then you can play it on CV1? I guess you do that to get in extended display mode ?
