nAV2016 in a strange place where Oculus did drop the ball. I sent a email to both my contacts but they never respond either. At the time they were really flooded - they still are from what it sounds like on tickets. Not sure what's up, but it sounds like they are in demand and trying to fill in those positions (they are hiring call center positions, lol)

@nAV2016 It depends. Right now, if you are already refunded the transaction might have meant you lost your place in line as I said in that thread as the "pre-order" never happen. If you got it from some place else - then from what I understand - you might have to just wait for them to get into stores.

I seriously don't agree with @A3DE either.

I received my rift 2 weeks ago, it has worked flawlessly and I am super impressed with the quality all around. Can't wait for my touch controllers.

UPS lost my one and Oculus support has not answered me in over a month. So pissed off. New orders can ship in a few days but they are not replying to support tickets. its absolute bulls**t.

I'm in the same boat...

Did they come back to you ?

When the Rift started going out to retail, Oculus said that anyone who manages to get a retail Rift before their pre-order ships can cancel the pre-order but retain their place in line for Touch. The situation @nAV2016 describes sounds like it should be covered under that policy--He had a pre-order, and he ended up getting his Rift through another channel before Oculus managed to fulfill.

Anyway, there are still a few months before Touch releases, so hopefully plenty of time for Oculus support to sort it out.

Except it was there was a problem and they were looking into it the problem prior to the refund that wasn't issue by Oculus. It's like buying something - having it ship - but no money came though. Not saying it's wrong - but I bet there will be confusion later on down the road on where he was place in line.

Aka, he didn't get it before it was ship for pre-orders as far as the records would show if that makes sense? Also, If I am understanding right, there was a cut off date for that as well - meaning that the policy only holds up to that date. Other wise - you got it from a retail chain as a normal customer.
