Another feature the Rift S is being left out of for no good reason?

This one is meant to monitor and notify about stuff entering your Guardian playspace.
Yay, Oculus. Good one for screwing over all of us who bought what was supposed to be your premium product until you decided to abandon it.

Or you could more accurately draw your playspace. Some furniture is hard-coded into the room and can't be pushed aside so easily.

Huh. I hope it will allow you to continue even if you have obstacles in your space. The only way I can get up to a moderate-sized space in my office is to cheat over some low furniture, so I have enough room to extend my arms without hitting the Guardian wall.

Edit: it looks like there is an option to continue despite obstacles, so that’s good.

That space in the video is barely bigger than the static stationary space. lol

Anyhow, does this work for things entering your space like my idiot dog? I've never had a warning - just a sudden lick on the knee. Very disconcerting in certain horror games. 😉

This feature hasn’t released yet, it sounds like it will be in Quest v17, which should start rolling out this week. This is currently only for static obstacles detected during Guardian setup, not dynamic objects entering your play space. Perhaps that will be the next feature in development.

I've asked multiple times about either issues not being added, problems with the software not being fixed or addressed at all, and have been ignored to the fullest extent, I'm done with Oculus.
