Any updates on the 1-3 week emails?

Any new updates on when the next wave of the 1-3 week emails is going out?  A lot of people with March pre-orders haven't received the email yet. Is it safe to assume that we aren't getting our rifts until mid to late April?

Everything's pretty much guesswork at the moment. I'd imagine a lot of people are hoping to hear something today, but maybe there won't be any further announcements until the first batch of pre-orders ships (allegedly Wednesday).

My main concern is my pre-order confirmation email was over a week late, so I'm not even sure if my order was a March order or a June/July order... The worst part is that support doesn't even know. Is there no one who can tell me what's going on?

My preorder confirmation was @ 8:08 am on 1/6.....  and have not received any shipping emails. i guess you'd have had to be very fast on 1/6....

This whole email thing seems off.. I don't think it has anything to do with how quick you'll get your rift. Lets just wait and see... but keep your pitchforks closeby just in case lol

Was just reading up on that, from the looks of it if this is true than Oculus is way off on shipments and should've been postponed around the same time the vive was. I ordered withen the first 11 mins and also got a march shipping date. I don't think they have even finished up the backers yet, let alone get to us.

Yep, as of a few minutes ago, backers are still posting on Reddit that they haven't even got dispatch details yet. A few early dispatches on Friday aside, Oculus do seem to be running way behind schedule. It seems to be fairly accepted that they've been manufacturing around 50k Rifts per month since pre-orders opened. That's almost three months, so in theory, they have a minimum of 100k units ready to go. Yet, so far, they seem to have sent out only a few hundred.

It's currently 10.30 PST, so still plenty of time to go today, but I've been checking Reddit fairly regularly and no sign on there of anyone being charged, or any more dispatch details being sent out.

From what I've read Preorders were postponed to start shipping wednesday or thursday of this week. March 28th is now out the window.

Yeah, shipping is Wednesday at the earliest, but that doesn't mean they can't send out more of the 1-3 week emails or start charging people prior to shipping 🙂

I just wish support was able to give us any information at all, they just send the same canned response.
