Any way to disable the Health and Safety warning yet?

Or, for that matter, disable the need to have Oculus home open?

I'm developing in Unity all day every day, and I am well aware of the potential discomforts associated with using VR. I really don't need to see that warning a dozen times a day.

Is there a way to turn this off yet?

No, I don't believe it can be disabled.

Out of curiosity, does the Vive have a similar unskippable forced warning message? Really is annoying after a while.

Warning message doesn't bother me throughout the couple months I've had Rift; takes no more than a few seconds to complete

Every time someone requests a way to disable the health and safety warning Oculus delays the release by a day.  Current planned release date is stardate 47988

The only thing that I ask is that I can ALWAYS just use "headset hover" to get rid of it regardless of what controller is active.

It's annoying that I have to fumble around to find my touch controllers just to click the button just because they were active at some point. I'd rather just be able to look at the bar for 2 seconds even if Touch/Xbox/Remote is active.

PC VR is half-abandoned by Oculus (and Valve attitude is not any better).
That's just my opinion.
And this is just yet another example why I think so.

And below, will be (justified) yet another post telling me to stop repeating that.

And below that, I would write that I still think it might be useful for some people who didn't realize this yet - less disappointments for them. Sorry to all the rest. Not sorry to fanboys.
But seriously, this is just awful how Oculus ignores most of things important for PC VR users and PC VR.
What was that I read when I joined this forum? I think it was "this forum is to communicate with the community, to provide them with info and listen to their opinions, so we can make Rift better" or something like that? Well... besides helping with support issues, I think it's safe to say that if an issue is important enough for community to create like 100 threads about it, and fixing that cannot cost more than few dollars and no more than hour of one person's work, then this most important reason of forum existense is not working here. I wonder if  all sub-forums are like that or it's just because PC VR is delibarately left with "forever beta" state. Since announcing delays of DK2 SKDs because "we want to make Gear VR soft in time for autumn" a few years ago, it seems like PC VR never returned to focus after that was done. People still suffer annoying bugs (most recent is 3 camera issues), and that's after delaying everything by like a year or so. Unbelievable.

OK, that's all I wanted to say. I will not post things like this for another few weeks/months.

Not an Oculus hater, but not a fan anymore. Still lots of respect for the team-Carmack, Abrash. Oculus is driven by big corporation principles now. That brings painful effects already, more to come in the future. This is not the Oculus I once cheered for.

Yeah, I really don't understand the placement of this message either.  It's like forcing a smoker to read the cigarette package before he lights up every single time.  Utterly pointless.

Well like it's law to put health warnings on cig packets,it's probably the same regarding vr,we live in an era of suing for everything this is the getout

It's the same reason we have a warning on our US coffee cup 'be carefull it's hot", or stupîd thing like "objects appear nearest in mirror" : somebody will one day try to make a legal action, so better to prevent that.

Alternatively, I use this screen to fine tune the headset position on my head as it have small text font. Pretty useful IMHO 😉
