damn I guess that's the way it looks I dont have mine till mid month bet it looks better when on. Guy has a red dot problem to I Guess. Do  you have a Idea of how the resolution stacks up in the rift  between 480p and 720p or as good as 720p, all I want to now is if it is clear and can see a distence give me a guess if you could. posted this to see if anyone had a powerfull sli graphics card set up to be able to do DSR, then turned to this.

What I've heard is that it feels slightly less than (but still close to) 720p.

Thanks I can live with close to 720p that not bad for how close the screens are to your face.

That's how Chronos looks. It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with unknownuser's Rift.

Also I'm not sure that changing DSR in Nvidia settings is going to have any effect on what you see in the Rift. The Rift doesn't show up as a display that you can output to. Those settings probably just affect games output to your main display. Don't quote me on that, it's what I've picked up from Reddit and these forums.

Elite Dangerous has supersampling settings within the game menu which apparently make a big difference to clarity, although I haven't really spent any time in it with my CV1 yet. They certainly worked in DK2 but that was pre-1.3 drivers and the DK2 was treated like a secondary display that you could configure.

Ya I found out that about the 1.3 drivers after posted, new drivers might give us more control later if the rift shows as a display in Nvidia settings. Would be nice to have that option so we could make the rift look as good as your hardware allows it to.
