Anything more specific than "upcoming" available for AMD support for ASW?

Title. People testing ASW out with the registry trick from the talk (link) are beginning to post results. Incredible results. Turning-everything-up-to-ultra-with-recommended-hardware-and-still-getting-buttery-smooth-gameplay-incredible.

I think it's more likely it would be in a larger update (16.12 or whatever), these little hotfixes are usually mostly rushed out to fix performance or bugs in newly launched games.

i was diggin into that subjec alot since RX 480 isn't doing ASW.
The most plausible piece of info is this
So we most probably have to wait until Oculus releases a new client version that includes AMD support. AMD put their part public already with the 16.10.1 drivers, Oculus has to follow with a release. Guess they won't release a beta status as it is accessible via the reg-hacks for nVidias...
Sad thing Oculus and AMD got us all on the fence by not telling us about such dependencies...
