Just saw a deal on a local marketplace, the bhaptic x40 suit + tactosy for arms + tactvisor for 600€, is this worth it still in 2024 ? do they still have update ?
i never used any haptic device and i'm seeing mixed feelings online (mostly positive tho), some can't play game without them anymore and some feel that only vibrating motors are meh
they can also be used for music, is this a better experience that just having sound ?
i saw on older videos that they had a tactosy for hands but they don't seem to sell it anymore, and replaced it with gloves ? (still a development kit tho)
also, can the community develop mods to support games or are we relying on the bhaptic team to have more supported games ?
i also saw that there is shockwave haptics like the teslasuit or shockwave suit and sound based suits like the skinetic suit, how does those techs compare to vibrating motors ?
