Are these cleaning wipes ok to use with the Rift?

I've been after some advice on cleaning my lenses and I was told on Reddit that these were ok to use and that someone at Oculus had recommended them. But before I try them and potentially wreck my lenses I thought I had best check here.

These are what I was recommended: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IKGH2TI/

Anyone tried them or know if they work? Any official word?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Do not clean the headset lenses with any liquid or chemical cleansers.

Oculus sent my team a full demo kit and care kit for use in one of our show events. In the case they sent us it included a lens spray and multiply micro fibre cloths. I'm sure they wouldn't have sent them us if they didn't think it was a good idea. A lot has changed in a year, they may be a little more confident in liquid cleaners now.

Personally I'd avoid using wipes of any kind. For me it's not so much a question of whether the chemical is safe to use or not, it's more a risk that a small spec of grit or tough silicate type dust would be wiped across the lens in the process and cause a scratch. The lenses seem to be pretty tough but they're not the same high index anti-scratch coated polymer you'd find in a pair of glasses, nor polycarb, I think they're acrylic but I'm guessing.

I suppose you have little choice if you have grease on the lens but if it's just dust on the surface, I'd recommend using a lens brush to remove it.

I use cotton cheese cloth to clean my lenses.
Considering its what we use to clean aircraft windscreens and canopys I think its fine.
WAAAGH!

It's probably fine but the only difference between windscreens & lenses are that the lenses right up close to your eyes so a scratch is much more visible. Even scratches on motorcycle visors aren't that noticeable unless you have a group of  bad ones.

Aircraft windscreens and canopies can be replaced. Rift lenses can neither be replaced nor repaired. (unfortunately)

Some advice on all headset cleaning.

Remember to read the "caution" label on the rear of all products - even though the stuff cleans lenses, it does not mean it is safe to make contact with eyes or skin (most lenses are on the front of cameras away from direct skin contact).
Avoid Clorox wet wipes - I have seen a lot of operators make this mistake and create a hoard of angry users with the "red badge of honour" after using their hardware.

In our industry, we are using the principle of "Wet on, Dry off" - in other words, a moist cloth clean, and a dry cloth over headset before handover to the next user.

@kevinw729, can you shine a light on the material used for the Rift's lenses or those of the amusement industry?

We used to have a few reports on the forum about the DK2 lenses being easy to scratch which now seems to be pretty rare for the CV1 (even though I haven't had a scratch on either), so I'm inclined to think the CV1 lens is a tougher version of the same material. It must be a factor in the amusement industry with constant wiping being the norm... or are those lenses replaceable?
