Are you buying games on Oculus Home?

I ask because while I am very happy that I can access Oculus Home and play Lucky's Tale (my absolute favorite VR game!) on my DK2, and watch some cool VR demo, but the games are... quite expensive! There are a bunch of games I would like to buy even if I don't have my CV1 yet, some of them I played at an Oculus event last year, but I wonder if there's gonna be some Oculus Home Sales like Steam does, where we can pick up games at lower cost. Also, it would be nice to have playable demos of those games, I'm sure I'm not the only one to think that. So, are you guys buying right now, or like me you are just trying the freebies?

to maxpare79, be assured that i give enough money to the game industry, specially on pc, and i am far behind in time for the return on investment but it is not the point : http://www.mysteamgauge.com/account?username=galop1n

So you don't owe future content creators because you paid, what, your deductible on gaming expenses previously? Future creators should just accept that the money is gone from you?

I now prefer give money to indy game makers than big instance like Oculus. I do not know the deal between Oculus and the studios, but i am pretty sure right now it is less fair than almighty Steam, and they also try to probe the market to see if we are good cow milks right now.

And you know this how?

i hope i can avoid it because i think its very bad to support a exlusiv shopsystem like this. Only winner is oculus.

And by this logic you avoid Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Origin and all other exclusive stores, right? DRM Free offline installers or nothing? And the content creator that gets a sale on Oculus doesn't win at all? Why are they selling there at all?

Some things like 'The Rose and I" are free on Steam, while Oculus is trying to charge $4.99 for it.

Thanks, I'll be sure to get it from Steam 😉

I have bought Project Cars and Chronos through the Oculus store, really looking forward to play them once I get my Rift.
I had previously bought Elite and was happy to see that it was possible to get a redeem code for the Oculus store, so now I have that installed and ready as well.

Will buy Technolust as soon as it hits the store, I missed out on the pre-order by a few hours or so, it looks really 'dope' as Palmer would have expressed himself 😉

I'm hoping Eve Valkyrie with a DK2 will tide me over until my Rift arrives in May, since I've already spoiled it playing the Alpha. I've also been playing Factorio (non-VR) lately, which makes the wait bearable.

I wasn't really planning on buying anything but after being completely blown away with the entire presentation, I have already bought a few titles.  I couldn't be happier right now with the entire thing.

Yes, buying games from OH is my first option. Not really concerned about "exclusives destroy gaming industry" drama - seems like a lot of companies do it and the gaming industry is humming right along. Plus, I want to support Oculus and see them succeed.
