Location: Cologne, Germany.
What do you think Oculus VR will show us? New games? New hardware prototype?

Anything hardware related they will show at riftcon is my guess. I think this will just be infostands with the dk2.

Holy hell! Forgot they were gonna be at Gamescom!

Awesome. Will get some pictures when I'm there for those that can't be there.

I'm hoping this will raise more awareness to those that haven't heard of the Rift yet.

I'm really looking forward to Gamescom, not only because of the Rift... Booked everything months ago
It seems they will have not only one booth...

It's one big booth in the entertainment area (hall 9), that probably means more stations than last year (16). Considering the amount of visitors last year and the budget they have now thanks to FB, this doesn't surprise me. I guess there will be DK2s as those are now produced in masses (well, compared to the handmade HD prototypes from last year). If there would be a better prototype, they would have to provide the partners who deliver the demos those devices weeks ago and would have to produce a lot of them in parallel to DK2 - in that case it would have been simpler to upgrade DK2. So, sorry, no peak at whats after DK2 at gamescom.

The booths in hall 4 are in the closed off business area, normal visitors don't get access to that. Even if you get into the halls, the booths are normally closed and you need an appointment to get into. Oculus had (one I think) last year as well. We will probably never know what will get shown there 😉
