I was just wondering if the $219 charged at checkout includes shipping?

Shipping is free $219 is your total cost. Remember also that for us Aussies that 219 is in USD and as it gets billed when the item ships depending on the USD vs AUD exchange rate at the time of shipping it may change a bit.

the extra $20 is the "we live in Australia" tax I'm guessing - not a rant, just a fact of life.

20 bucks is our GST, ALL prices shown in Australia are required to be GST inclusive.

I'm paying $215.42, in Texas, so it's more like an extra 5 bucks for 'we live in Australia' tax, which is not bad tbh.
