Australian pre-order experience

It's only two days left till the end of my estimate shipping date and they still haven't charged me yet so I'm little concerned about the delay. I know it's only estimate but who wants to wait for few more days after such a long wait !!

Anyway I was hoping if AUS guys can share the pre-order experience here so we have better insight on what's going on.

maybe i'm too impatient but my mate's order (we're both in Aus) got processed this morning and mine got no update so far.

While his order number is 28XXXX  and mine is 26XXXX 

Congrats Oculus! it's so farking hard to process orders "in order" huh ??

@minimoo I'm sorry mate - it's possible that they're still working on them... I think I've seen people say they've received them over a fair few hours.... not trying to give false hope, but I feel your pain. what was your order time? I was 8:14min (order number means less than time)
Though you are more than slightly incoherent, I agree with you Madam,
a plum is a terrible thing to do to a nostril.

Technically we have until the end of the week. I'm already preparing myself for disappointment. Getting ready to retreat back down my wombat hole and sulk in the darkness of my burrow until the next batch.

A proof that, no matter what you ask, you will get the same reply xD

I don't mind the wait actually and it could be that some of the issues causing the high defect rate get ironed out and we get a better quality Rift.

You're absolutely right mate. Personally I need to work myself out of this unhealthy, all-consuming obsession I've developed with checking every possible source for shipping information at least every 30 mins.

Need to just chillax and let things take their course....

Easier said than done lol

I am not quite sure how you came up with that assumption though

To me it's not the wait killing me, it's their poor customer care & communication shits me.
