Best method to downgrade from 0.7 to 0.6 runtime?

So I updated to 0.7 the other day, but most of what I use isn't working and need to go back to 0.6. So I used the windows uninstaller and uninstalled the oculus runtime app and drivers. I then installed 0.6.0.1 and rebooted. But it won't recognize the rift (yellow light) and the configuration utility keeps saying it's not plugged in. So whats the proper way to downgrade?

That's what I did - uninstalled 0.7, reinstalled 0.6. I had no problems. Maybe you need to clear your machine of everything Oculus (apart from apps/games) and do a clean installation.

That's strange. I've downgraded before without issue.

Can you provide these log files? viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23521

Also, you may want to reinstall the GPU driver with the clean option.

This way it`s working for me:

1. Unplug OR (and the tracking camera)
2. Uninstall current runtime
3. Restart pc
4. Install new runtime
5. Restart pc
6. Plug in OR and the camera

Sometimes I had errors when I didn't unplug anything.
