I would recommend Final Approach Pilot Edition. Works well without the Vive wands and isn't your typical flying game.

System Specs: MSI NVIDIA RTX 4090 , i5 13700K CPU, 32GB DDR 4 RAM, Win 11 64 Bit OS.

Ohh, that one looks good, but wasnt sure whether to wait for Touch or not.

Lukwtwz mentioned that there would be no ATW in the Steam version of PCars. Is that correct?

No that is not correct.  Asynchronous Time Warp is most definitely enabled and working 100% in Steam version.  There is nothing functionally different between the 2 versions other than the platform and fact that Oculus multiplayer does not interact with Steam MP.  Stick with steam version is general consensus.

if you buy the real Final Approach on steam you get the Pilot version as well ...I would get that one instead, to cover all your basis once Touch is out

Subnautica,  it's fantastic.  Perfect for VR

Airmech is still one of my favorites for the Rift, VR adds so much to the genre! Pinball FX2 is so damn good! I'm with Cyber - Dead Secret and Apollo 11 are both great, despite not having the greatest graphics - they both offer amazing experiences and take advantage of being VR built.

Ok... I've picked up Crystal Rift, Darknet, Apollo 11 and Dead Secret so far.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet on Chronos, simply because the Aussie dollar dipped $0.03 yesterday (following the England and the EU situation apparently) and as Chronos costs a bit more than the others, I thought I'd wait to see if it rebounds a little. And as my Rift doesn't arrive until Friday, there's no rush. As i mentioned upthread a little, it's the number one game on my want list, however.

And now that I've typed that - I've sort of realised how silly it is. 3 cents in the dollar on 40 dollars equates to $1.20. So I'll go grab Chronos now. 😄

I bought Dead Secret this morning, really enjoying the pace, pretty creepy too.

That ATW works in the Steam version was clarified for me in the official Project Cars forum as well, so I don't why I would have forgotten that. Maybe it's because it was late and I had been considering another title, Adrift, which, IIRC, supported ATW only in Home according to many posts shortly after its release on Steam. Sorry for any confusion my post caused.

Anyway, it's still too bad that the Home version can't be bought at greater discount by those who already own Steam version, as the general consensus is that Steam periodically has major data breaches that leak billing info. It's the only company that has ever prompted a credit card company to call me on the phone and tell me to change my number ASAP because of a major breach. Steam has also been chronically reckless in other respects that have been well documented. Given that it's possible to delete billing info and use pre-paid Steam cards instead, I'll still take risks and go for Steam versions of games when they're at least $10 less.

I ended up getting Ad1ft on Home sale for $14, Dead Secret for $10, ioMoon for $13.50 (only a dollar off), and Subnautica for $12, even though I already own it on Steam, because I'm hoping it's less buggy on Home and will be better optimized over time via updates of both the app and Oculus runtime.
