Anybody else pre-ordered their touch from bestbuy Canada? I have my Delivery set up to dec. 8th... but its now written release date 23 dec. on the site... Are they dropping the ball and wont ship before dec. 23 or I should trust my shipping date ? On the FAQ they say they dont ship before release date but that release date might be a mistake ?
What do you guys think ?

Item Status: Pre-Order Release Date: December 23, 2016 Delivered as early as Dec 08.
I ordered from them back on Oct 19th (was supposed to ship/arrive on the 6th for me) and it appears this could be an Oculus thing and they decided that Canadians pre ordering from third party companies don't matter and decided to delay our orders for 2.5 weeks.
You can't even order it from Amazon.ca anymore and Microsoft store's site doesn't have the touch as well.
I'll wait to see what happens but right now I'm a little ticked off since the whole point of pre ordering something early is so you can have the thing at or close to the release date. Apparently Oculus didn't learn their lesson from the Rift pre ordering issue. Nice that people can get it from the U.S Best Buy site while those of us who pre ordered in Canada from third party companies (apparently also including some who ordered directly from Oculus) are left out.
Last time I'll pre order an Oculus product and the whole thing (the Rift also being delayed from the Cdn release date...but at least Best Buy gave a discount over that delay) has me hoping the next headset I get will be from another company that actually understands this whole process of pre ordering.
I'm also expecting an issue getting the pre order bonus game codes too so I'll probably be having to email Oculus over that in a couple weeks. heh
